Concierge Guide

What does a medical concierge in China actually do?

A medical concierge does not replace doctors. The role is to make a cross-border medical stay understandable, scheduled, translated, and supported from arrival to departure.

Before Arrival

  • Collects travel details
  • Organizes records
  • Coordinates appointment pathway
  • Prepares interpreter and vehicle schedule

During Stay

  • Airport pickup
  • Hotel transfer
  • Hospital navigation
  • Interpreter and transport coordination

After Visit

  • Report organization
  • Follow-up coordination
  • Airport drop-off
  • Post-visit communication support

Who benefits most?

First-time visitors, patients traveling with family, surgical and rehabilitation patients, and people who want one accountable coordinator for the non-clinical journey.

What it is not

It is not 24-hour nursing, emergency medical care, or medical monitoring. Extra interpreter hours, vehicle use, companion activities, hotels, meals, and third-party costs should be quoted separately.
